Eid-al-Fitr 2017

Hi everyone :o)

It has been forever since I sat down, opened up WordPress and posted a blog post. I could say I haven’t had the time but honestly speaking, I just wasn’t feeling it. Trust me, I tried plenty of times to just write about something and share it with you all but I truly believe if your heart aint in it, then don’t do it!

Yesterday it was Eid, marking the end of Ramadan 2017. I previously posted a blog post about Eid-al-Adha which you can read here.

During the day everyone came over to my house for lunch so it was super busy! There was lots of kids, babies and adults, all of course looking fabulous! In the evening, we then went to my dads friends house for a very late dinner.

I didn’t actually buy a new Eid outfit this year however my mum bought me a dress when she went to London a few months ago so it made sense to wear it. My first reaction to the dress was MEH its ok…although when I wore it with a full face makeup and a beautiful hijab, it didn’t look too bad!

For makeup, I knew I didn’t want to go too overboard. I stuck with a gold-ish lid with browney colours in the crease.

What I did focus on though was my base because BOY have I been breaking out. Unfortunately my skin is sensitive, oily and VERY acne prone. The whole makeup looked turned out nice and also lasted for a very long time (12 hours), even though I had to touch up several times throughout the whole day.

The one thing I didn’t do though was eat a lot of food LOL!

I hope everyone who celebrated Eid had a nice day too! Leave me a comment on what you got up too :o)
